We are delighted to welcome Matthias Floru as the new CEO of aim.group!

Matthias brings a wealth of financial and deal experience from his time at Waterland, an investor specializing in family businesses. Prior to that, Matthias supported businesses as a management consultant at McKinsey and improved operations at 3D printing specialist Materialise. Matthias completed civil engineering studies at the KU Leuven and an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, focusing on entrepreneurship through acquisition. With this strong background, Matthias is eager to further grow aim.group and its portfolio companies.

What truly resonates with Matthias is aim’s commitment to long-term investment in people and companies. This is a powerful flywheel that continually strengthens itself, creating sustainable growth.
