DD Engineering is a multidisciplinary engineering firm based in Ypres. It was founded by Piet Deknudt and Kris Devriese in 1991. The acquisition took place approximately 25 years later.

DD Engineering is a well-known name in the industry. They are a hands-on engineering & consulting group with 4 business units, each with a passion for engineering and each with its own specialization. They are known for their no-nonsense approach coupled with years of experience and expertise.

The original DD Engineering brand created by Piet and Kris was retained following the acquisition and further developed in depth. Today, DD Engineering boasts a strong track record since the acquisition. The company has expanded both in its number of multidisciplinary engineers and geographically, opening branches in Ghent and Herentals alongside its headquarters in Ypres.
