Due to the growing global presence of our portfolio company Vandapower and the strategic motive to operate with a physical location within the UK, we partnered with aim.group-entrepreneur and Vandapower CEO Stijn Uitterhaegen for an appropriate takeover target within the sector. Steady local roots and a match with Vandapower's vision and values were essential in this process.

Torberry Connectors Ltd, based in Hampshire, UK, has experience in the distribution of connectors and connection assemblies combined with technical advice since 1973. Founder Stephen Keeley was looking for a solution given his approaching retirement age and saw in Vandapower a safe haven to house his business.
POST-ACQUISITION
After acquisition by Vandapower, the name of Torberry Connectors Ltd was also changed to Vandapower Ltd. This was done to reflect our group branding, in consistency with the Vandapower LLC entity in Texas that was established in the USA. In addition we In addition, we moved to larger premises, in line with our overseas ambitions!
