Vandapower is a wholesaler of industrial battery components located in Oosterzele (Wetteren). It was founded by Dirk Van Damme & Sonja Roegis in 2000. After the acquisition, about 15 years later, aim.group-entrepreneur Stijn Uitterhaegen is leading the way and preparing Vandapower for the future.

Vandapower is a one-stop shop for components for industrial batteries and battery chargers: from plugs and cell connectors, components for chargers, tools & accessories to kits & cable sets. They are known as specialists and distinguish themselves through their very broad portfolio, independent technical advice and customer-specific packaging methods.

Additionally, Vandapower plays a strong ESG role in the electrification of industrial mobile equipment (forklifts, sweepers, floor scrubbers, etc.) given its broad offering of sustainable and environmentally friendly Lithium-Ion solutions. Unlike traditional Lead-Acid batteries, Lithium-Ion batteries are compact, feature a high energy density, and degrade relatively slowly.

The Vandapower brand started by Dirk & Sonja was retained after the acquisition and further developed in depth. Since the acquisition, Vandapower has been able to achieve excellent results. The company continues to grow and is now, more than ever, the specialist in industrial battery components.

The offices in Oosterzele were expanded and a new physical location in the United States (Austin, Texas) was opened in 2019. In 2021, the acquisition of a British sector colleague (Torberry) was realised, strengthening Vandapower's global ambitions.
